Assistant Principal Don Rossander has been in the education business for 26 years. He has been working at CTHS for four years now. Before he came here, he taught at HEB ISD, in Cleburne, for Rio Vista and in Weatherford.

Rossander coached for 16 years. Sports he coached included football, basketball, power lifting and track and field.

“I wanted to be able to help kids learn and have fun with their lives,” he said. “It means the world knowing that I make differences in teachers’ and students’ lives.”

Rossander said being an educator makes him a better person, and he’s happy to be at CTHS.

“It is the best school I’ve been at,” he said. “It’s the first place I feel like I go to have fun not just work.”

To him CTHS is “like a second home.”

Rossander said he enjoys being an assistant principal because he gets to see all the students every day.

Rossander hopes students to know something about the school before they leave.

“They’re graduating from the finest high school in this area,” he said.
